Accessibility Statement
We are committed to keeping the MY PRINCESS website usable by everyone, targeting WCAG 2.1 level AA and EN 301 549 conformance.
Conformance standard
The website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. Assessment combines code review, keyboard-only navigation and testing at up to 200% zoom.
Measures in place
Accessibility is implemented in the structure of the site itself and does not depend on a third-party overlay or widget.
- Semantic structure with a single main landmark, a clear heading hierarchy and named navigation regions.
- A “Skip to content” link as the first focusable element of every page.
- Full keyboard operation, a visible focus indicator, and Escape to dismiss overlays.
- Alternative text on every meaningful image and empty alt on decorative elements.
- Colour contrast meeting at least 4.5:1 for body text.
- All motion respects the operating system prefers-reduced-motion setting.
- A bilingual URL structure with the correct document language (el/en).
- Tap targets of at least 44×44 px on mobile and reflow without horizontal scrolling.
Accessibility settings
The discreet accessibility icon at the bottom right opens a panel of settings that are genuinely applied: reduced motion, larger text, increased contrast, highlighted links and a strong focus indicator. Choices are stored locally on your device and can be reset at any time.
Known limitations
The Contact page embeds Google Maps. The content and accessibility of the maps are controlled by Google; every office address, telephone number and email is also provided as text so no information depends on the map.
